Not all of our cuddly toys are personalised themselves, as in the case of Mega bear. This bear wears a sweet t-shirt, which is the personalised part! We offer lots of different designs in our online editor, to which you can add the photo or text of your choice, including designs with collage options. With so many different options, you can create the perfect Mega bear for any occasion.
We start by making sure that the bear is given the right size t-shirt to wear. We place the selected t-shirt by the printer in the correct department. This is a different printing process than used for, for example, our personalised children’s chair. As each product is different and we’re always looking for more sustainable ways of working, we now use two different textile printers. These printers print each design by layering them colour by colour. The print is wet when it leaves the printer, so the t-shirt then goes through the drying process, which involves placing the t-shirt on a conveyor belt and allowing it to pass through the drying machine. When the t-shirt comes out, it can be placed on the Mega bear.
The final step is to get the bear all dressed up by putting the t-shirt on. The Mega bear is pretty large, so it can be a bit of a wrestle to get the t-shirt on just right! Once it’s on, though, the Mega bear looks fantastic and is all ready to be shipped to the lucky recipient.
